Peace & Provision

Today has been very hard. We received news that if we don't come up with a large sum of money, Chris' bail will be null & void. This means that next week he could be back in jail. I know I can survive this, but the thought of not having my husband at my side through all of this is nearly too much to bear. The thought of having to tell the girls makes me want to throw up.

There is good news. Since my last post we have been assigned a new attorney. This is not a public defender. This is a private attorney being paid by the state to fight on our behalf. We know this is from God. There really is no other explanation. He seems like a good attorney who sees the ridiculousness of the case and is willing to fight. Praise God!

The next court date is November 19th. If Chris ends up back in jail, that means he will be there until then...at least. He will miss our baby's first birthday, our oldest's 11th birthday, and so much more. It is killing him to think of all that.

In the meantime, we are trying to figure out how to keep him out of jail and trying to pay our bills. Finances have been very hard. Working outside the home has not panned out well for either of us, so we've decided to work on our Shaklee business. We're asking anyone who would like to support us to look at the site ( http://www.ecofriendlyhome.net ) and try out just one product. Send the link to friends and family letting them know the same thing. I'm praying that by doing this you will get a chance to check out the products and we can earn a bit of income.

Above all, thank you for your prayers. This next week will be really difficult and we need to feel His presence. Please pray for peace and His provision.
